KATY WILSON, Director of Winemaking
Katy was raised on a walnut orchard in the Central Valley of California, manifesting her boots-on-the-ground approach to farming at an early age. After getting her degrees in Wine & Viticulture and Agricultural Business at Cal Poly, she took on a number of harvest internships in New Zealand, Australia, and of course, California.
Katy has worked at Joseph Phelps, Flowers, and Kamen and has her own label, LaRue Wines. She and Noah have been winemaking partners for more than 10 years. Her impeccable attention for detail and unrelenting pursuit of crafting the perfect glass of wine have made a considerable impression on the portfolio at Reeve.
Katy lives in Napa with her husband David, their sweet little girl Charlie, and their darling puppy Nico.
JOHN BRANDAU, Estate Manager
Growing up in Sonoma County, John is as native as it gets to the wine scene in Dry Creek Valley and surrounding AVAs. John fell in love with wine at a young age in his pop’s garage - thieving sips from his glass while he was busy closing up shop.
His first Estate Chef & Wine Educator position was in the heart of Alexander Valley at an organic wine and olive oil producing estate. His transition to Reeve has put him at the helm of the fifty-five-acre estate by overseeing the hospitality team, grounds management, sales systems and overall guest experience. And the goats.
John currently spends his free time beating drums alongside his bandmates, tending to family heirloom avocado trees and gardens, running trails, whipping it up in the kitchen, and raising two outstanding young citizens alongside his wife Dora.
Morgan Gray, Director of Operations
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Morgan began her hospitality career early working in luxury hotels and restaurants. When she was introduced to the world of wine during her formative years at university, she fell in love instantaneously.
After graduating, rather than diving into a career in accounting or international business, she moved to Houston, TX and then to San Francisco, CA, working as a sommelier and deepening her knowledge and passion for wine. She finally landed in Healdsburg at Reeve Wines & BloodRoot Wines as National Sales Director where she assists in operations, works with and builds distribution channels, and connects with consumers and sommeliers alike. Just recently, she passed the Theory portion of her Master Sommelier exam and will be sitting for Tasting and Practical later this year. Outside of her wine life, she loves traveling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her partner and their two sweet pups.
NOAH DORRANCE, Founder & Partner
Noah Dorrance fell in love with wine at the early age of 18 and has been pursuing a life around it ever since.
Noah launched Reeve in 2015 as a way to dig deeper into the potential of California’s top cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plantings in the Anderson Valley and Sonoma Coast’s diverse terroirs. Noah previously co-founded Banshee Wines in 2009 and made the wines there from 2009 to 2017. Prior to that he worked at Crushpad from 2005-2010.
He is the driving force behind the wines at Reeve, from vineyard scouting and cultivating grower relationships, to overall stylistic vision. He spearheads Reeve’s winemaking and production with the support of Katy to form a powerhouse combination of experience, passion, and wine vision.
Noah is a true visionary and entrepreneur while mercilessly seeking out the next good time—be it on a boat, under the stars, at a concert, tossing the football with son Reeve, or mountain biking with daughter Remy.
KELLY DORRANCE, Founder & Partner
The title says it all. Kelly has so many varied interests and talents, and happily takes on the role of “whatever it takes”. Kelly graduated with degrees in Art and Business, is right-brained and left-brained, creative and analytical.
At Reeve, Kelly designed the tasting room and set up all the systems. She also oversees (and is obsessed with) all customer experience and touch points—making sure guests leave with full hearts and boxes of wine. She also doesn’t take for granted for one second that she gets to do this alongside the man she loves, with the best team in the world, all while selling crazy good wine.
Outside of work, Kelly thrives on either being in nature or finding underappreciated dusty old things that are ready for their second act. She also manages a household with two incredibly active and darling children, Remy and Reeve, and the world’s best worst dog, Mookie.
Jessica Whitaker, DTC Sales & Wine Club coordinator
Jess is a Marin County native who has spent the last 5 years growing and learning the wine world from the inside out. Because of her passion for the planet & animals, she studied Ecological, Evolutionary, and Organismal Biology, and graduated in 2021 with honors from CSU Monterey Bay.
Although wine wasn’t initially on her radar as a career path, she quickly discovered it to be the perfect mix of math, science, and art. During this journey, she completed WSET Level 2 with distinction to further her knowledge in wine.
She has since grown into her role as DTC Sales and Wine Club Coordinator for both BloodRoot and Reeve Wines, fostering meaningful relationships with members and continually elevating the club experience.
Jess lives in Healdsburg with her partner, Elliot (see below), and their two black cats, Salem and Binx. When not color-coding Excel sheets, she enjoys baking, beach days, trying new things, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her parents and closest friends.
ELLIOT HERROD, TASTING ROOM COORDINATOR
Raised in Lawrence, Kansas, Elliot discovered his love for hospitality early on while working in restaurants in a vibrant college town, where he learned the power of great food to bring people together.
In 2019, he moved to Healdsburg, where his family roots run deep, and his passion for wine quickly took hold. He soon became a manager at the local institution, Campo Fina, deepening his wine knowledge and building lasting relationships with guests and colleagues. Elliot later helped open Troubadour Bread & Bistro as Maître d’, contributing to the development of both the service culture and wine program, with a focus on local producers and global wines.
Now, as Tasting Room Coordinator at Reeve, Elliot brings a thoughtful, guest-centered approach to hospitality, creating personal, memorable experiences.
Outside of work, Elliot enjoys hunting through antique and vintage shops, tending to his garden, supporting live music, cooking dinner for his partner Jess (see above), and exploring the local dining scene, often ordering far too much food. Ask him for a recommendation; he’s always happy to share and connect.
ANGIE RAYMER, EVENTS & LODGING COORDINATOR
Originally from San Jose, Angie landed in Sonoma in 2013 and never looked back. She graduated from Sonoma State University in 2017 with a degree in Marketing and Wine Business Strategy, but her path into wine didn’t start in a vineyard - it began in craft beer. After nearly eight years in the craft beverage world, she made the jump to wine, bringing with her a deep love for hospitality, logistics, and people-driven experiences.
At Reeve, she oversees all events and lodging, managing everything from unforgettable celebrations to stays at the Villa and Cottage. Known for her calm-in-the-chaos approach, she’s all about creating experiences that feel seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely fun.
When she’s not at the winery, you’ll likely find her adventuring around Northern California with her husband Chris (Reeve’s chef) and their daughter, Willow; chasing good food, great views, and the kind of everyday moments that make wine country feel like home.
Chris Raymer, Estate Chef
Born and raised in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Chris Raymer made the leap to California during his senior year of high school, landing in St. Helena and diving headfirst into the culinary world. While finishing school, he jump-started his career at the Culinary Institute of America, setting the foundation for a path rooted in thoughtful, ingredient-driven cooking.
From there, Chris helped open Ciccio in St. Helena before eventually stepping into an Executive Chef role in Point Reyes. Looking to shift into the wine world, he joined Rams Gate Winery as Chef de Cuisine, where he spent seven years refining his approach to seasonal, wine-focused cuisine. In 2022, he brought that experience to Reeve Wines, where his food continues to play a central role in the guest experience.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Chris stays busy running Sonoma County’s newest catering venture, Nomad Provisions, crafting handmade leather goods through Golden Owl Supply Co, or spending time with his wife Angie and their daughter, Willow — usually somewhere between a day trip, a good meal, and a little creative chaos.
