2017 Kiser Vineyard Blanc de Noir
One Case Maximum
As you know, Kiser Vineyard is one of the crown jewels in our portfolio of vineyards, with Pinot Noir worthy of this journey. We harvested this fruit in 2017—a full six weeks before our red wine harvest in order to capture the vervey freshness required for great sparkling wine. It is a blend of both the upper and lower sections of the vineyard.
In general, we tend of drink racy Champagnes and so we crafted this Kiser sparkling wine in that fashion. It has a pleasantly oxidative note from the 10 months in barrel of which 15% was new. It then aged for 26 months on the lees and was bottled with a hyper minimal dosage of 1g/L.
The wine sports notes of apple, pear, ginger with a dose of fresh baked croissant. We recommend drinking out of white wine glasses to maximize freshness and bouquet at the same time.
