2016 Sonoma County Sangiovese
Our 2016 Sonoma County Sangiovese is sourced from hillside vineyards in Chalk Hill and Knights Valley appellations of Sonoma County. The wine was crafted in small open top fermenters and aged 20 months in neutral French oak barrels.
Bright cherry and rose petals waft from the glass followed by a powerful core of dark red cherry, cigar wrapper, amaro, and licorice. Despite its power, the wine is underpinned with a nervy acidity.
