2016 Mirama Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Our 2016 Mirama Pinot Noir hails from a collection of three vineyards in what it is colloquially known as the “true Sonoma Coast”. These vineyards all have variations on the Goldridge soil series, generally a fine textured and well-drained type that is derived from an ancient inland sea that emptied into the Pacific 5 million years ago.
Cool oceanic influence in the Sonoma Coast allows for slow flavor development and tends to produce Pinot Noirs with fine structural elements and elegance. This wine aged for 20 months in mostly neutral French Oak barrels with only 20% being new.
100 cases produced.
