Reeve Wines

Nine-year-old Remy and her dad, Noah, owner and winemaker at Reeve Wines, together have made a few cases of a mouthwatering white blend called Remy Saves the Sea.  Remy expressed interested in learning the ropes of how wine is made, and is also an aspiring surfer and lover of animals. Per her idea—for each bottle of wine sold—$5 will be donated to support ocean clean up. And for those of you who were fans of our sold-out 2019 Vermentino, this wine is 96% of the same Dry Creek Valley Vermentino and 4% Prism Riesling.  The wine fermented in concrete eggs and the extra time in bottle has expanded its textural presence.

This edition of Libertine has wine from the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 vintages, which is why we label it XV or cross-vintage. It is composed primarily of Sangiovese but also possesses significant amounts Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Dolcetto along with small amounts of other varieties. We love the way the different ages and varieties play together in this unique wine that is not quite like any other.

Perched high above Santa Rosa in the Mayacamas Mountains, Petrichor Vineyards grows delicious Syrah and Grenache.  The vineyard was lovingly planted by Margaret and Jim Foley in a high density arrangement on volcanic soils.  It is hand farmed organically by Lee Martinelli Jr. and his team in partnership with consulting viticulturist, Steve Matthiasson.  It's a lot of whole cluster fermentation, resulting in a bright and juicy wine.
