Our small-production wines are honest and true to the vineyards and soils from which they grow, and the cool climates in which they ripen just to the edge of tension. They speak the language of ancient terroir and of purposeful farming, of thoughtful winemaking, and the hundreds of farming and winemaking decisions we consider each and every vintage.
With Reeve, we aspire to dig deeper into the potential of California’s noble hillside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plantings in the Anderson Valley, Mendocino County and Sonoma Coast’s diverse terroirs—and to experiment with winemaking techniques and lesser-known varietals, with a particular penchant for Italian grapes like Sangiovese, and soon Falanghina, the newly-grafted addition to Reeve’s growing acreage of estate vineyards.
We do not subscribe to a formulaic dogma but instead practice the light-handed art of winemaking. Our intention is to highlight the truest expression of a vineyard, and to produce balanced wines that achieve a delicate equilibrium between elegance and gravity, intensity and finesse. It is our belief that wines enter another dimension when there is harmony between otherwise opposing forces. We strive to make wines with depth and complexity that draw you into the glass, and continue to pull you in for more.
Most of our wines are available only through our Wine Club, Mailing List, or Tasting Room. What you see online is our current release wines for club members and allocation.Feel free to reach out to find out more.
